"The only problem was the elevators were always busy. Lines every time I wanted to use them. I mostly went down the stairs (15th floor) but couldn't walk up from the lobby (locked door for safety - that's OK). You should try to fix the elevator problem, though. It was frustrating. The room was very pleasant - quiet, cool, clean."

"They were testing the fire alarms two mornings of our stay, which interrupted my sleep greatly, but other than that, it was terrific."

"Excellent hotel! Flawless checkin, right near downtown as stated, metro is 50 feet from the hotel entrance for traveling further distances, great attractions nearby, and a very friendly staff. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!"

"Very good overall, though the rooms are a little small - also very long lines at the front desk."

"The room was too small for 2 double beds; it was a challenge to get from one side of the room to the other. Hopefully other rooms set up as 2 doubles have more space to move about; if so, they should convert this to a king, queen or twin/double combination."

"The staff was extrememly friendly, but the hotel rooms need a facelift. I stayed in what I like to refer to as "The Tropical Room." Every citrus colour variation you could imagine. The room was quite small and not overly inviting. The remote control had no batteries and the fridge and drawers were conveniently located, where else but, in the closet!"

"I left a note at the desk about leaking pipes in the bathroom.
The maid had no supply of face cloths or bathmats when I asked her.
We chose to stay there because I had an early appointment at Princess Margaret on Monday. The looming TTC strike caused me get get creative and cut down on travel and parkging worries. So my purpose in staying there was well served.
Thanks"

"Somehow the sanitary installations were noisy, though at floor 21 there is a need for pressure. The telephone keys didn't work at time.
The restaurant should be upgraded in terms of menu diversity, professional service and cleanness. The coffe shop was excellent, and a good speciality restaurant may become a reference point.
The location is excellent, and managing a hotel of this size in a fierce competition while keeping a low price, is a challenge."

"everything was great, the location was amazing, the beer cellar was cool, and the pool was great. you need to look into free parking for people staying in the hotel because they dont tell you its another 18 dollars a night for parking and you cant drive out at night."

"Parking was almost impossible to find. I thought the room size for the price was a bit off, room was more like a single. Very cramped with 4 people."

"I thought it was terrible that there was an $0.85 charge applied every time I or one of the other guests in our room used a prepaid calling card. It seemed an excessive charge, especially when a prepaid calling card was used and little effort on the part of the hotel was required."

"I think the wall or ceiling of a hotel room is thinner than any other similar type of hotel I have ever stayed. One early morning, I could not sleep becasue people upstairs or nextdoor were singing, dancing, and praying."

"The first night we had to stay in a smoking room. Most hotels with smoking rooms/floors you can sorta tell there was a smoker in there previously, but we actually had trouble sleeping because the smell of stale cigarette smoke was so pervasive. Fortunately, when we asked about moving to a smoke free room the next day, we were accommodated.
The newly renovated rooms are nicely decorated. Rooms are cozy."
