"Hotel is well positioned for the lake and nice walks along the Quay.Concierge very helpful..i wanted a live music bar,he sent me to a great place on College street next door to Bar Italia.
A short walk from the hotel is the harbour tour boat, a nice little trip only 1 hour...the guide is very funny.Also very informative is the 2 hour bus trip around Toronto ..this also picks up from here.
Shopping at the Eaton Center on Yonge St is good (about 15min walk..Hudson Bay store is also opposite here) tho there are others i didnt try.
Downside about the Hotel was the service vehicles visting during the early hours (typ 3am-4.30am) waking me several times.This could have been due to the position of my room on the east side of the building.But then Toronto is a city..and cities never sleep!A litle closer to the centre of "downtown" may have been better but then what are legs for!"
